Grunge Theme Engine#

Full site theme system: six themes with per-theme CSS variable tables (background, chrome, pane, modal, grain) and six accent colors (red, orange, green, teal, blue, purple) with separate dark and light palettes
Theme dots in the titlebar plus a draggable accent picker popup: docks flush to the content pane top, drags horizontally only, never leaves the pane, position persisted
Per-theme grain textures; black mode got heavier grain, a lighter pane border, and darker input fields site-wide
Chrome frame: grained titlebar and statusbar rails, corner grip dots, footer with shrink priorities (middle trims first, "Steve the Killer" never trims)
All tool cards on the family recipe: chrome-gray border at rest, muted accent stripe along the top edge only, hover pop with accent on the lower edges

Brand Art#

KillerTools wordmark regenerated with the beveled lighting treatment in all six accent colors, dark and light variants; sidebar wordmark follows the active accent

Terminal Theme#

Introduced kt-terminal.css with a shared design system for all tool panels: unified --kt-term-bg CSS variable (#0a0a0c dark / #cccccc light), kt-section-row titlebar class, kt-tag, kt-divider, kt-pill, and kt-prompt utility classes
All tool input panels and output terminals now share consistent monospace typography, green accent borders, and hover states
Section titlebars use a shared green-tinted background so input header, output header, and section labels all render at the same shade in both themes

Light Mode#

NaiveUI theme config: light mode page background set to #b8b8b8, layout body color matched
Sidebar logo darkened in light mode via filter: brightness(0.55) so the green logo remains visible against the light background
JWT parser: input field, textarea, and decoded terminal render correct backgrounds in light mode; data rows use #ffffff with green hover
JSON diff: both input panels use correct light/dark textarea backgrounds via inline style binding
Encryption tool: panel backgrounds, inputs, textareas, and dropdowns all respond correctly to light mode
Domain lookup: email DNS result panels use correct backgrounds in light mode
All kt-sublabel text switches to rgba(0,0,0,0.50) in light mode via global rule

Mobile#

Responsive fixes for pre blocks: max-width: 100%, overflow-x: auto, box-sizing: border-box
